Standard Live-In Care
Standard Care; Perfectly Placed’s Standard Live-In Care is specially designed for those who need extra help around their home during the day. This covers a wide range of client needs:
- Some Assistance with Dressing
- Some assistance with Showering, Bathing, Shaving as well as Oral Hygiene
- Mobility Support & Steadying (e.g. Walking Stick)
- Some Assistance with getting to/from the toilet
- May require a commode or bottle emptying
- Forgetfulness or repetitive (short term memory loss)
- Can be left alone for short periods of time
- Needs some assistance in cutting up food
- May need prompting to take medication or ordering of prescriptions
The Carer will also provide Meal Preparation, Light Housework, Recreational Support, Companionship, Domestic Administration and support when it comes to Shopping Trips/Running Errands.
Advanced Live-In Care
Advanced Care; Perfectly Placed’s Advanced Live-In Care is catered for those who need full support around their home during the day primarily. This also covers a wide range of client needs such as:
- Full Assistance with Dressing
- Full assistance with Showering, Bathing, Shaving as well as Oral Hygiene
- Supervision when moving around the home
- Some Assistance with getting to/from the toilet
- Needs a commode, catheter bag or bottle emptying
- Forgetfulness or repetitive (advanced) and requires full supervision
- Cannot be left alone
- May require assistance to eat and drink
- Will need prompting to take medication or ordering of prescriptions
- May have dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, MS or require hoisting
The Carer will also provide Meal Preparation, Light Housework, Recreational Support, Companionship, Domestic Administration and support when it comes to Shopping Trips/Running Errands.
Night Support
Night Care; Perfectly Placed’s Night Care is there for those who require more assistance in the Night rather than during the Day.
The Carer is there to assist the client with any requirements, this may range from;
- Assisting with Toileting
- Providing reassurance that someone is awake and alert
- Making sure that you are sleeping safe and soundly
- Ensuring Security within the property as well as providing security for the mind
This allows complete comfort and peace of mind for the client during the night.
Knowing the impact that Night Care will have on our Carers, we will don’t expect our Night Carer to help throught the Day for Daytime Care. We would recommend that there be an additional carer to be able to ensure appropriate Daytime Care for those that require it. If this is required, please let us know and we can talk with you through the process and allow extra Carers.
