Introductory Agency
Since we are an Introductory Agency, we will interview any potential carers on your behalf as well as carry out the relevant checks which includes; DBS, Right to Work in the UK & Professional References. Perfectly Placed will ensure that every candidate has completed any training that is required. Our Carers will then work on a Self-Employed basis and handle all of their own Tax. As an Introductory Agency we do not direct the Care, this gives the Client freedom to direct care as they wish.
What is to be provided for the Live-In Carer?
When it comes to a Live-In Carer, they would need to have their own bedroom along with supplied storage to keep their belongings tidy. Carers will also need to be provided with food; Our Carers tend to eat the same food as the client, cooking a little extra and will also join the client at mealtimes, unless the client prefers to eat alone.
How long do Live-In Carers stay?
Perfectly Placed work with you to accommodate any length of time you may require a Carer. Our Home Carers tend to work to a 2-6 weeks rotation so if someone is required on a long term basis we will endeavour to get a rota of regular Carers who will work to this pattern.
COVID 19 – Perfectly Placed are aware of the pandemic and would like to offer assignments of 12 weeks where available to limit contact with multiple individuals.
Will my Live-In Carer wake up in the night?
Live-In Carers are placed in your home to ensure that if an emergency was to occur they would be there instantly. If someone is unwell and requires extra attention in the night, our carers are more than happy to help, however they may request some extra time off during the day to catch up on sleep in order to give the appropriate Care needed throughout the rest of the assignment.
Are there any extra charges for night care?
There is an extra charge for the carer if they are called overnight, this is because a Carer should not be getting up more than twice a night.
However if it is that the Client requires extra Night Care, then please let us know and we can arrange for extra Night Care to be put into place, as a Live-In Carer will not be able to sustain the level of care required if they aren’t getting enough sleep.
